Analytics

This site uses its own anonymous analytics to measure traffic. No IP address or personal data is recorded. Only the following is stored:

page visited and time of visit
browser language and device type (desktop / mobile)
scroll depth, time spent on page, and clicks to bite.solonomad.eu

Data is used solely by the blog author, is not shared with third parties, and is retained for a maximum of 24 months. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest of the operator (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What this site does not collect

No names, emails, or other personal data
No third-party cookies
No ad networks or tracking pixels
No social media scripts

Affiliate links and commissions

This site participates in the CJ Affiliate network. Some links — for example to Booking.com — are affiliate links through which this site may earn a commission from the partner. The price is the same for you — the commission is paid by the partner, not by you.

Clicking an affiliate link takes you to an external site that may set its own cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy. solonomad.eu is not responsible for the behaviour of those sites.

Disabling tracking

You can disable tracking at any time. Clicking the button below sets a cookie sn_notrack=1 and no further visit data will be stored. The cookie lasts 12 months and must be set separately in each browser.
